Company Outing 2007 : Coco Beach
I just came back from Puerto Gallera yesterday. We had bumpy bus and boat rides, Korean invasion, welcome drinks, spectacular food, swindled, pictures, scratches on our knees, sea sicks, 1000 pictures, and that’s the best company outing ever. =)
I woke up 3:30am to take a bath before my taxi arrives, I was expecting it around 4:30am but I think he’s a little too excited and went our house 30 mins early good thing I’m already wearing my pants. Mom woke up to open the gate for me :)
I arrive the station at 4:30am, lea, joy jen, and princez is there, stressed and still working, I helped them out sending some files and around 5AM mommy D. arrived :) she’s not coming with us because it was a very long journey, so instead she went to the station to pick us up and bring us to diamond hotel where our bus is waiting. At meron din kaming jolibee for breakfast ayos =)
6am+ we left the station. Arrived at the diamond hotel to find out we’e riding with foreigners (Americans, Koreans, Japanese) first ride I fell asleep, we made our first stop at a gas station. I pity the kids who can’t go to the bathroom because almost everyone in our group was in the line going to the bathroom. (we were 26, 70% were women) After the long ride, we arrived the boat area around 10am, where we had a wet bumpy boat ride. The boat was literally flying @___@ Mang Manny (our technician who was sitting near front of the boat) was first to be bathe in sea water XD he was soaked from head to foot XD
We arrived Coco Beach around 11AM, welcomed warmly by coco beach family with coconut drinks and shell necklace =) had delicious lunch, and in here Sir Raffy gave us “pocket money” XDDDDDDD we love you sir rafffy~!!!!!!!!!!
We went to our respective rooms, I’m sharing the room with Ate cel, Ate len and Carla. We walk along the stone path, where a sign “Heritage” greets us, Walk more and there’s a 20ft tall wall of vines and flowers on the right, on the left were our rooms, there’s a terrace were we have a “sampayan” and “sala” made of wood and bamboo. The rooms is fresh looking, the walls were aqua blue, and everything were mostly made from ingenious materials (the guide books says they wanted to preserve the natural environment so they carefully chose what materials to use to build an eco friendly resort =) (took pictures here)
2pm we went to to beach to get a boat to bring us to “white beach”. I think our boat kinda swindled us because he says he didn’t know where he’s taking us. So our boat got lost going to white beach while others went to Puerto Gallera. (Puerto=P300.00, WB=P1100 x……x ) we arrived there and saw a line up of souvenir tiange. My friends we’re buying pasalubongs for their family, I on the other hand shoped for a pasalubong for mark XD (because I figured my siblings will only use my pasulobng into their “pantulog”) I went around and saw a pair of knitted bikini I wanted for the longest time. That I got for only 90 bux =) (dapat dalawa kinuha ko tsk)
The waves in white beach was strong. The waves are high and the sea water is reaching us like 10 meters away @__@ my company drank beers and swam the shore (and we take moe pictures hehe~! )
4:30pm we went back. Our boat got stuck in the middle of the sea. And we arrived the coco beach by 5:30 and we ate merienda =) after that we went back to our rooms to get change to go to the beach. (more pictures taken here hehe)
At night we had dinner at the beach side. =) we had barbecues, (fishes, chicken, beef, kebab etc) grilled potatoes, buttered veggies, cream soup yum =) carla and I went back to our room, accompanied by Chico who was getting well from his fever. We got back in our room and not long cel and len also came back, and we fell asleep, tired from the trip. Around 10pm sir paeng came knocking loudly at our door. It’s drinking time na kasi XDDD ayun we got up again wore jackets and went to Sir raffy’s room to have a few beers, courant, tequilla ,cheetos and a chat. We also went to lea’s room because they’re keeping the other “pulutan” from us XDD we got back in our rooms around 12mn because we planned to wake up early to swim in the beach.
7am we woke up, washed our faces brush our teeth, got into our bathing suits and went to eat breakfast before goin to the beach to take more picture shahahahha XDDDD we even made a, “RX93.1” sand sculpture and took more pictures =) we went back around 9:30 to take a bath and go to the “hanging bridge” and ride the cable jeep to go to “silent pool”. Took more pictures and went back to our rooms to get ready to check out of our rooms.
We left the island around 12:30pm. Rode a speed boat first before transferring into a bigger boat, in the middle of the sea @________@ this ride is much safer and less bumpy. Although the waves were a bit bigger and it rained, the “kapitan” is really careful. Len and I were hoping to see some dolphins jumping in the sea, but instead I saw flying fishies XDDD
We arrived the shore after and hour, Carla and I were seatmates again in the bus, beside us were Korean children, we were offering them food like “butong kalabasa” and “meringe” and they love it =) yun nga lang may moment na we were peeling kalabasa seeds for the children hehe~! And the children ate up a bag of meringe (pano humingi ng humingi para mabigyan mga kapatid nya ^^;;;)
We arrived diamond hotel around 6pm =) mommy is there again fetching for us. In the car binigay namin yung pasalubong namin na sarong para sa kanya =) After that I met my family at shangri-la, ate at house of minis (there goes my pocket money) and went home 11PM na. =)
